Types of Alopecia

- Alopecia Universalis: Alopecia Universalis is the most extreme form of Alopecia, in which the person affected will suffer from complete loss of hair over their entire body.
Symptoms of Alopecia
The main symptom of Alopecia is hair shedding. This shedding may differ between individuals, with some noticing noticeable hair loss, while others may experience just a small amount of shedding.
As well as hair loss, other physical symptoms may include:
- Itching or burning sensation on the scalp.
- Small, round patches of hair loss on the scalp or other parts of the body.
- Thinning of the hair.
- Reddened scalp.
- Fatigue.
Diagnosis and Treatment of Alopecia
