The experience of Birth and postpartum can bring with it a mix of wonderful, and not so wonderful, changes – and sometimes postpartum hair loss is one of them. What Causes Postpartum Hair Loss
The main cause of postpartum hair loss is a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). During pregnancy, a woman’s body holds onto more of the hormone due to the additional production of the hormone during pregnancy. This means that after giving birth, the sudden drop in hormone levels can cause a drastic change in the production of hair follicles.

Whilst it’s normal to experience some postpartum hair loss, there are some things you can do to reduce it. Here are some tips:
